My name is Nick Malozzi, and I ❤️ building interfaces. As a Front End Developer with experience in Graphic, Web, & UX Design, I'm uniquely suited to work closely with Design and/or Product Teams. I'm not currently seeking new opportunities, but don't hesitate to get in touch.

• Instructor Dashboard

  Built the Instructor Interface for the Bluprint Video Player Library. This included a statistics section, and an interactive commenting inbox.

• Video Player Library & Experience (VPL/VPE)

  Was a core contributor to the Bluprint Video Player Library (VPL). My work included consuming and interfacing with our video player (TheoPlayer), styling the video player controls, and passing watch/play data to and from our analytics platforms. Also, built the Bluprint Video Player Experience (VPE). Which included the consumption of the VPL, as well as the entire user interface for Bluprint's core product. The VPE included episodic navigation, supplies and materials downloads, timestamped notes/bookmarks, and commenting. Additionally, I built user state based messaging/marketing and analytics.

• Craftsy/Bluprint React Native App

  Was a core Front End contributor to the ground-up rebuild of the Craftsy iOS/Android App using React Native.

• Craftsy/Bluprint Shop 2.0

  Was a core contributor to the ground-up rebuild of Craftsy. Which later became the Bluprint Shop. Initial responsibilities included designing and building the Atomic Component Library, and the SASS architecture. Said architecture supported 2 major rebranding efforts on tight timelines (that I executed). Later responsibilities included a number of new features.

  malozzi.codes LLC is my independent contracting entity. As a side hustle, the focus of this work is on the sweet-spot of my skill set; building beautiful, responsive, and clean front end interfaces.

• Senior Front End UX/UI Engineer

  TN Marketing | 8.20.2020 - Present

  Building and launching new features/sites for the TN Marketing portfolio of enthusiast websites. These sites leverage Wordpress, WooCommerce, React, SASS/SCSS, and JS/jQuery. In addition to Development responsibilities mentioned, also responsible for working closely with the UX team to maintain and build TN's Style Library.

• Front End UI Engineer

  Bluprint | 7.1.2018 - 7.31.2020

  Contributed to multiple Front End stacks. Included, but not limited to, an e-commerce platform built in React, an iPhone/Android app built in React Native, a Video Player Library built in Preact/React/JS, and a CMS built in Handlebars/JS. Participated in a number of rebranding and/or rebuilding efforts.

• Sr UX Engineer & Front End UI Engineer

  Craftsy | 6.1.2013 - 7.1.2018

  Came on board with Craftsy as a UX Engineer; was quickly promoted to Sr UX Engineer. UX Engineer responsibilities included working with the Product team to create wire frames, user tests, mock ups, conduct user tests, and write HTML/CSS for new features. Transistioned to a more Development focused role in January of 2017.

  Was the primary UI/UX Designer for dishanywhere.com, Dish Network's streaming service. Also contributed to the Front End coding efforts needed to launch the site.

  Designed and coded a template system for the On-Site Marketing platform for apartment complexes. As well as redesigned the UI/UX for said platform's administration interface.
